Want VWW to speak at your event?

Virtual World Watch is available for speaking at relevant academic and library events. These can be anywhere in the world, but event organisers should note that VWW is concerned with UK academic uses of virtual worlds.

Speaking topics include, but are not limited to:

  • The use of virtual worlds in UK education.
  • Teaching and learning practice using virtual worlds.
  • The issues surrounding the use of virtual worlds in academic institutions.
  • Evaluating virtual world use in education.

No speaker fee is required (though VWW would not turn one down!). However, travel and accommodation expenses need to be covered by the event organisers.

The presentation can be tailored to fit into the event. VWW can also work with other speakers at the event to make the presentation more complementary, and connected, to theirs.
