Second Tuesday event for May 2010

I’d like to invite you to come hang out at our new arts venue, cunningly named ‘The Venue’ at:

(that’ll be Tuesday 11th at 8pm UK time) and I’d like to propose a moment or two of serious frivolity.
We’ve mentioned at previous meetings different tools that we use, and I’d like to show the plethora of pinboards/noticeboards I’ve collected over the years – none of which are quite perfect – for comparison and also I’m happy to show off some of the tentative uses we’ve made of the Virtually Human (formerly known as Presomatic) Game Kit for easy logged quizzing. I’m very happy to rez anyone else’s favourite tools for a bit of a showcase, if you let me know what you can’t live without.
Additionally, if that feels like too much hard thinking work close to marking time, I’d be also quite keen to get The Venue’s catwalk in use, so instead of quietly coveting e.g. Sheila’s latest outfit or missing half a discussion at events doing lots of ‘inspecting’, I’d be exceedingly pleased to learn about some favourite stores/outfitters (after all, we are supposed to care hugely about what we wear, are we not?!) The Venue pipes in our student radio too, so you can always stick around and do some of your marking to their creative vibe
